Performance and use
This product is colorless, odorless and transparent oily liquid with flash point of 193 ℃, boiling point of 289 ℃(101KPa), viscosity of 3.5~12.2 cps and refractive index of 1.4226(20 ℃).
This product is soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in water, water solubility in this product is 7%(25 ℃). However, it will gradually hydrolyze as the temperature rises.
This product is widely used as nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, chlorinated rubber, polyvinyl chloride plasticizer; used as a coating, adhesive, ink solvent, defoamer and anti-static agent; can also be used as a rare metal extraction agent. However, this product has a high boiling point and a large volatile loss, and its application in plasticizers is relatively limited.
