Performance and use
colorless transparent liquid, slightly odor, melting point less than -50 ℃, boiling point 272 ℃, relative density 0.9646(25/4 ℃), refractive index 1.4190, viscosity: 2-4cp, logarithm of octanol/water partition coefficient: 3.7, insoluble in water, miscible in alcohol, ether and other organic solvents.
Chemical properties: general ester, hydrolysis under alkaline conditions.
Mainly used as defoaming agent, penetrating agent. Widely used in printing and dyeing, ink, construction, oil field additives and other industries and fields.
